Saturday night live Paying tribute to strange little flutes in a funny sketch, and it’s kind of a blast? During the show, Pete Davidson and Chris Redd were accompanied by musical guest Kid Cudi to a sketch that still makes me scratch my head and laugh. As the trio talked about taking their flutes everywhere, including the club and the airport, it became increasingly clear that they might have an unhealthy obsession with the musical instrument. As if this sketch couldn’t get any stranger, actor Timothée Chalamet made a quick cameo to play his own flute.

It may seem completely coincidental that Chalamet joins the sketch, but the actor and Cudi actually go way back. Chalamet has been a huge fan of the rapper since he was a teenager, and he previously told James Corden that Cudi inspired him to become an artist. In addition to showing up at one of his shows to recite words from Cudi’s “In My Dreams (Cudder Anthem),” Chalamet also attended the rapper’s 2019 birthday party that included Davidson, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
