Gold House Releases 2021 A100 List

May is the month of heritage for the Asian and Pacific Islanders, and Gold House is kicking off the naming of its prestigious A100. On May 3, the nonprofit group launched its annual list to recognize Asians and islanders in the Pacific who have an impact on their community. This year’s winners include entertainers like Oscar-winning director Chloé Zhao, record-breaking singer Olivia Rodrigo, and the K-pop phenomena Blackpink.

The judges – including Daniel Dae Kim, Michelle Yeoh, Lea Salonga and others – also selected Saweetie, Kelly Marie Tran, Olivia Munn, Auli’i Cravalho, Naomi Osaka, HER and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, to name a few. And of course, our first South Asian Vice President, Kamala Harris, was also highlighted on the list. As Sandra Oh once said, “It’s an honor to just be Asian.” Check out Gold House’s full selection of 2021 Award winners here.
